For today’s blog post I decided I wanted to talk plain old simple fashion and share some outfit inspiration. Like Lionel Ritchie says “easy like Sunday mornings”.

-Denim Shorts-

Shorts tend to be the Phoenician uniform. Seems like shorts get shorter by the minute but these pair from Madewell were long enough to cover needed areas but short enough to be called shorts and not bermudas. Personally I’m more of summer dress kind of gal but a good pair of denim shorts are good to have in a hell like AZ so when I found these, I knew they were worth the buy.

Eyelets eyelet eylets! Oh how I love eyelet dresses, eyelet blouses, and eyelet everything for summer. First thing that comes to mind when I hear summer is “time to take on the eyelets” no joke. They’re light breezy and easy to wear up and down. Find some great styles here.

I’ve been doing some traveling which is great because the summers in Phoenix are unbearable, but not everywhere I go has the same weather and that is exactly why I don’t store all my outerwear as soon as we hit the 90 degree mark. I recently found this military jacket from Free People which I found on Nordsorm’s early sale. I bet most people won’t think of shopping for a jacket mid June but… (rule of thumb) “A great deal is  on only a great deal if it you were willing to pay full price in the first place”. And in this case it totally was.

And like any other sunny day, I can’t leave without a good pair of sunglasses. My pair of the moment? My cat eye Miu Miu sparkly shades are with me everywhere. Stay tuned for more pics featuring these killer pair.
