The world of fashion is a fast paced, nonstop, ever changing cycle and it’s what makes it so enchanting. Styles come and go and a variety of trends are “in” at the moment. So before our entire wardrobe goals change in a blink of an eye I thought I’d share this outfit, specially this dress which is the top trend of summer. The off the shoulder that is!

For the next couple of post you’ll be hearing me talk about upcoming trends of the season, everything from colors, patterns, silhouettes and more. But to start it off, I wanted to share this adorable off the shoulder dress I wore to brunch with my family. During my sister’s visit, we brunched at Prado at the Monte Lucia Resort in Scottsdale and it was the perfect setting to go along with the Mexican embroidery on my dress (on sale here). Going on a full theme here!

I absolutely love watching a certain trend become soo big and reach its peak right in front of my eyes. Why? You ever think about what you’ll think of this trend a decade from now? Once you’ve witnessed its full cycle? Yes, you probably won’t dig it anymore but at least you’ll instantly recognize the year it pertained to and that is what I love about learning the biggest trends of each season.

I wore my new Marc Fisher wedge sandals for an elevated feel and bring more color to my pastel selection. And of course a good pair of shades because well as you can see for yourself in the pictures, the sun here is currently brighter than your mother’s outfit in the 80s. Shop my fave Miu Miu sunnies of the moment here.

Take my word on this, the off the shoulder will certainly be representing part of the millennial era. So years from now, when you’re kids decide to throw a millennial theme party, make sure to save that off the shoulder top for their costume along with a cross body bag and a pink iPhone… Duh!
