Yesterday I was lying by the pool; I shut my eyes and Bam! It’s Thanksgiving. Seriously though, anyone else feel like each year goes faster? Is this a symptom of adulting?

I’ve been wanting to share this post for a few weeks now, but couldn’t think of the right words for lack of inspiration or quite honestly… time. Between a fulltime job, side jobs, traveling, and managing a social life, it’s hard to find time to relax, dig into my creativity and let the words come on its own. I am in no way saying this in a negative “winey” way. If anything I feel thankful for the ability to do many things at once. And all things I enjoy and do by choice. So this thanksgiving, I am primarily thankful for my new found hobby that has opened many doors and has helped me build great connections.

Blogging is one of my newest hobbies so I wouldn’t call myself an expert nor the best writer but I am learning as I go and I’ve loved every minute of it. Including those hair-pulling moments when I run into technical difficulties (Anyone with a website can relate I’m sure) but the most rewarding thing of all is the people I’ve had the pleasure to connect and build friendships with. I’ve met genuinely nice people who share things in common and are willing to give a hand to each other. It builds drive and healthy motivation.

I was contacted to do this shoot alongside a few local bloggers for Williams Sonoma and Cafe Valley  here in Phoenix a couple months ago. Not only was this an opportunity to work with some blogger friends but also discover new faces in the valley. I absolutely love hearing about people’s backgrounds, interest, and life stories. My stories are created with authenticity, passion, and admiration for the world and people around us.

This year has been a whole lot of discoveries of my own. The more people I meet, the more I learn about myself, if that makes sense. In times we feel a sense of urgency to do or become, but I’ve learned that as long as you are persistent and use your time wisely, your time will come. Everyone’s timing is different. Blogging has somehow guided the understanding of what works for me and what doesn’t. What I want and what I don’t.

So in other words, this is my creative platform and I can’t’ stop won’t stop. I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has helped in the creation of my blog, anyone who has shown their consistent support and a huge shout out to these girls and many more who have come into my life. Your continuous support inspires me to keep creating.

Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

P.S. I’ve been working on some exciting new things I hope to share with you all soon! Stay tuned.
